Snowflake
Connect a Snowflake data warehouse to Lakehousecat using a connection URI.
Availability
This datasource type is being rolled out and is not yet selectable when you create a datasource. This page describes the intended connection method.
Connection Fields

Prerequisites
- Admin or Builder role in Lakehousecat
- A Snowflake user with
USAGEprivilege on the target database, schema, and warehouse - The Snowflake account identifier (e.g.,
xy12345.us-east-1)
Notes
- Include
?warehouse=YOUR_WAREHOUSEin the URI if the user does not have a default warehouse configured. - Use a dedicated read-only role to limit access to the intended schemas and tables.
- For large warehouses, configure schema and table filters in the Filters tab after creation.
