File Upload
The File Upload datasource type lets you upload tabular files directly from your local machine. Uploaded files are processed into the internal data store and made available for semantic extraction and AI analysis.
Supported Formats

Only tabular (spreadsheet-style) files are supported. PDF, DOCX, and other document formats are not supported.
How It Works
- During datasource creation, click Click here to select files to open a file picker.
- Select one or more CSV or Excel files.
- Click Create — the files are uploaded and processed automatically.
After creation, you can trigger semantic extraction from the Operations tab to make the data queryable by the AI.
