Data Lake Table Formats
Lakehousecat supports the three major open table formats for data lakes. These formats are stored in S3-compatible object storage and accessed via their endpoint URL with object storage credentials.
Supported Formats

|---|---|
| Delta Lake | ACID transactions, time travel, and schema enforcement on top of Parquet |
| Apache Hudi | Incremental data processing with upsert and delete support |
| Apache Iceberg | Large-scale analytics with schema evolution and hidden partitioning |
Connection Requirements
All three formats require:
- A publicly accessible or network-reachable endpoint URL pointing to the table
- An Access Key ID and Secret Access Key for object storage authentication
