Audit Log
The Audit Log tab shows a chronological history of all configuration changes made to this Custom Model. Use it to track who changed what and when.
What Is Logged
| Event | Description |
|---|---|
| Model created | Initial creation of the Custom Model |
| Name or description updated | Edits to the display name, description, or system prompt |
| Provider Model changed | The linked Provider Model was swapped |
| Status flags changed | Enabled or locked flag toggled |
| Data sources changed | A data source was connected or disconnected |
| Filters changed | Custom Model filters were updated for a data source |
| Parameters changed | Generation parameters (temperature, top-p, etc.) updated |
| Semantic model operation | Create, Update, or Delete Semantic Model was triggered |
| Suggestions changed | Suggestions were added, edited, or deleted |
| Model shared or unshared | Sharing permissions were granted or revoked |
Columns

| Details | Additional context about the change (e.g., old and new value) |
Use Cases
- Troubleshooting: Identify when a filter change, data source swap, or semantic model operation may have caused a regression in query quality.
- Compliance: Demonstrate that Custom Model configurations — especially those involving sensitive data — are managed and audited.
- Change management: Review recent changes before re-running a semantic model operation or before sharing the model with new users.
- Accountability: Verify who shared the model and when, particularly relevant for models with access to sensitive data.
Notes
- The audit log is read-only. Entries cannot be edited or deleted.
- Access to the audit log requires Admin or Builder role.
