Use Cases

  • Troubleshooting: Identify when a filter change, data source swap, or semantic model operation may have caused a regression in query quality.
  • Compliance: Demonstrate that Custom Model configurations — especially those involving sensitive data — are managed and audited.
  • Change management: Review recent changes before re-running a semantic model operation or before sharing the model with new users.
  • Accountability: Verify who shared the model and when, particularly relevant for models with access to sensitive data.

Notes

  • The audit log is read-only. Entries cannot be edited or deleted.
  • Access to the audit log requires Admin or Builder role.
