SQLite
Connect a SQLite database to Lakehousecat by uploading a .db or .sqlite file.
Connection Fields
| Field | Required | Description |
|---|---|---|
| File Upload | Yes | Upload your SQLite database file (.db or .sqlite). The file is stored securely and used for semantic extraction. |
Prerequisites
- Admin or Builder role in Lakehousecat
- A SQLite database file with the tables you want to expose
Notes
- SQLite is a file-based database — there is no server or connection URI. The file is uploaded directly from your local machine.
- Full Load only: Lakehousecat always performs a full reload when you trigger a data load for a SQLite datasource. Incremental Load is not supported for file-based sources.
- All tables in the uploaded database file are available for semantic extraction. Use the Filters tab to exclude specific tables or columns.
- The maximum supported file size depends on your Lakehousecat deployment configuration.
Next Steps
After creating the datasource, go to the Operations tab to trigger semantic extraction.
