Share

The sharing functionality in the Analytics platform enables users to share charts and dashboards with other groups, fostering collaboration and enhancing data-driven insights. This feature is designed to operate at the group level, ensuring secure and efficient access to shared resources.

How to Share Charts and Dashboards

  1. Validate and Select the Component: Before initiating the sharing process, ensure that the chart or dashboard is validated and ready for distribution. Navigate through the Analytics workspace to locate and select the desired chart or dashboard.

  2. Access the Sharing Options: Open the menu associated with the selected chart or dashboard. Within the menu, locate and click on the "Share" option to proceed.

  3. Generate a Shareable Link: Once the "Share" option is activated, the system generates a unique shareable link. This link can be copied and distributed to other users, granting them access to the shared component.

  4. View Shared Components: Shared dashboards and charts are organized under the "Shared Dashboards" and "Shared Analytics" sections. To access these shared components, users must belong to the relevant groups with appropriate permissions.

Managing Shared Access

  • Revoke Sharing: If a chart or dashboard no longer needs to be shared, the sharing can be revoked through the menu options. Once sharing is stopped, the component will only remain accessible to users who are part of the registered groups.

  • Update Sharing Permissions: Administrators or authorized users can modify sharing permissions to add or remove groups, ensuring that access remains aligned with organizational requirements.

By leveraging these sharing capabilities, teams can collaborate more effectively, streamline workflows, and ensure that critical data insights are accessible to the right stakeholders.
